Career Services is a key contributor in the success of Utah Tech University students. Career Services staff provides career counseling and employment advising to aid students, alumni and community members when choosing a major, identifying a career, exploring graduate school, and/or seeking employment. Career Services offers career exploration through interest, personality and ability assessments. The staff provide assistance with all professional hiring documents and specializes in resume review, cover letter writing and mock interviews.

Career Services introduces students to employers through employment fairs, graduate school fairs, Corporate Night, Employer Panels, Career Tours and employer information sessions.  Career Services provides on the job mentoring and experiential career development through work internships.

Student Employment / Internships

Many students work part-time or full-time while attending the University.  Career Services offers various forms of assistance to students seeking employment.  Internships are one of the best ways to gain experience and connect with employers. The staff works with employers through outreach to develop internships and job opportunities to insure quality experiences.
