Academic Appeals Committee

The Utah Tech University Academic Appeals Committee, comprised of faculty and students, is charged with reviewing appeals of graduation requirements, General Education requirements, appeals of academic actions after they have reached the dean level, and appeals of Student Professional Conduct Hearing Board decisions.
Prerequisite and placement requirements, as well as course substitutions, are handled by the department chair and/or dean/associate dean. For more information, consult the Student Code. Students wishing to file an academic appeal should consult their academic advisor and complete the Academic Appeals form.
