Program Description
The Management degree at Utah Tech University prepares students to be effective leaders and managers in today's business world. The active learning curriculum imparts practical, real-world skills and empowers students to succeed in diverse managerial roles. A Bachelor’s in Management is also an excellent choice for students wishing to pursue a graduate degree in business.

Utah Tech General Education Requirements
All Utah Tech General Education requirements must be fulfilled. A previously earned degree may fulfill those requirements, but courses must be equivalent to Utah Tech's minimum General Education standards in American Institutions, English, and Mathematics.

MANAGEMENT Electives
Students may take any of the courses listed below to fulfill the remaining 12 elective credit hours for a Management BS degree, with at least 3 credits being upper-division (3000-5000 level). A course may only be used to fulfill one program requirement. The elective courses have been grouped into four different management tracks to help guide your selection: an Entrepreneurship track, a Supply Chain track, an Analytics track, and an International track. Alternatively, students may develop their own custom track by selecting elective courses of their choice from the list below (totaling 12 credit hours). It is recommended that students who wish to pursue a custom track discuss their course selections with an advisor. A complete list of all management electives is provided at the bottom of this page.
Entrepreneurship Track
Entrepreneurship is a driving force of innovation, economic growth, and opportunity across every industry. The Entrepreneurship elective track equips Management BS students with the skills, mindset, and practical experience needed to identify opportunities, develop viable business models, and bring new ideas to market. Through a curriculum emphasizing creative problem-solving, venture development, and strategic decision-making, students gain a strong foundation for launching and managing successful enterprises. This focused track prepares graduates to become founders, innovators, and entrepreneurial leaders within startups and established organizations. Supply Chain Track
Students pursuing the Supply Chain Track will learn a variety of knowledge and skills necessary in the management of global supply chains, including; data analysis for better decision making, how to effectively communicate and explain data-driven recommendations, managing supply chains across countries and cultures, managing projects, gaining competitive advantage through sustainable value creation, and collaborating with internal and external partners to maximize customer value. Analytics Track
The Analytics Track prepares students to make informed, data-driven decisions using analytical tools and methods. A key focus is the combination of technical skills and domain knowledge to communicate complex information in clear, actionable ways. Students will learn to import and interpret data, communicate insights effectively, and support strategy and performance. This track is ideal for those interested in roles that rely on analytics, problem solving, and evidence-based decision making. Students may take any of the courses listed below to fulfill the 12 elective credit hours for a Management degree.

International Track
We live in a globalized interconnected world. Both large multinational firms and many small businesses rely on international markets for their supply chains and for customers for their products. The International Track will help students understand and prepare for the issues facing businesses in the today’s competitive global economic environment. Students may take any of the courses listed below to fulfill the 12 elective credit hours for a Management degree.

Graduation Requirements
- Complete a minimum of 120 college-level credits (1000 and above).
- Complete at least 40 upper-division credits (3000 and above).
- Complete at least 30 upper-division credits at Utah Tech for institutional residency.
- Maximum 12 upper-division transfer credits may fulfill Utah Tech Business program requirements.
- Cumulative GPA 2.0 or higher.
- Minimum C- grade and 2.5 GPA in Business Core Requirements, Management Core Requirements, and Management Elective Requirements.
