Program Description

The Associate of Applied Science in General Technology (A.A.S.) - Business emphasis, prepares students for entry-level business careers and small business ownership.  The content incorporates related general education requirements, essential business courses and a technical content specific to entrepreneurship management.

30 credits from an accredited Utah System, technical college program. The specific content, which may be transferred for credit, must exceed 30 credits or 900 membership hours and must be an articulated program with Utah Tech. Transfer coursework for a certificate of completion will be evaluated, and credit awarded in accordance with approved articulation agreements as outlined in R471.


Graduation Requirements

  1. Complete a minimum of 63 college-level credits (1000 and above).
  2. Complete at least 20 semester hours of credits at Utah Tech for institutional residency.
  3. Grade of C- or better earned in every course.
  4. Cumulative GPA 2.0 or higher.
