The Associate of Applied Science in General Technology (A.A.S.) - Business emphasis, prepares students for entry-level business careers and small business ownership. The content incorporates related general education requirements, essential business courses and a technical content specific to entrepreneurship management.

General Education & Institutional Requirements
The required General Education courses for the Associate of Applied Science degree at Utah Tech include a course in English, Quantitative Reasoning and Human Relations.

Graduation Requirements
- Complete a minimum of 63 college-level credits (1000 and above).
- Complete at least 20 semester hours of credits at Utah Tech for institutional residency.
- Grade of C- or better earned in every course.
- Cumulative GPA 2.0 or higher.
AAS General Technology Business Emphasis Program Learning Outcomes
At the successful conclusion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate technical specialty competencies by completing an articulated 900 hour ATC program.
- Create an original business plan which incorporates business and technical knowledge.
- Develop persuasive and succinct presentations to pitch to potential investors and customers.
