Social Research Methods Certificate Program Learning Outcomes

At the successful conclusion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Design, implement, and communicate the findings of social research projects employing appropriate methodologies and ethical considerations.
2. Employ various data collection methods such as surveys, interviews, observations, and existing data sources effectively and ethically to gather information pertinent to social research.
3. Apply quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques to interpret and evaluate social data, including statistical analysis, coding, thematic analysis, and interpretation of findings.
