¹ Students may request to take the Music Theory test from the Music Department Chair or the test is offered on the first day of MUSC 1100.  Students passing with a grade of C or higher may test out of the MUSC 1100 requirement.

Completion Requirements

1. Complete all coursework with a grade of higher.
2. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Choral Conducting Certificate Program Learning Outcomes

At the successful conclusion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Analyze and mark scores in preparation for rehearsal and performance.
2. Conduct a piece of music for choir efficiently and expressively.
3. Lead an effective choral ensemble rehearsal.
