Program Description
The Associate of Applied Science in Design prepares students for entry-level Design careers. The content incorporates related general education requirements, and provides students with the basic skills of effective visual, oral, and written communication for a range of audiences.

30 credits from an accredited Utah System, technical college program. The specific content, which may be transferred for credit, must exceed 30 credits or 900 membership hours and must be an articulated program with Utah Tech. Transfer coursework for a certificate of completion will be evaluated, and credit awarded in accordance with approved articulation agreements as outlined in R471.
Graduation Requirements
- Complete a minimum of 63 college-level credits (1000 and above).
- Complete at least 20 semester hours of credits at Utah Tech for institutional residency.
- Grade of C or higher is required in all design courses.
- Cumulative GPA 2.0 or higher.
